Hangout​

I will arrive in Porto two days before on the 18th, so you are welcome to join me for some delicious food and a glass or two of port. 

​

Getting There​

• There will be transfers from Porto on the morning of the 20th, which will include a stop for lunch in the Douro Valley. 

• Alternatively you can self-drive, it is an easy drive from Porto, Lisbon and Spain.

  • From Porto it is 2h30

  • From Lisbon it is 3h30

  • From Madrid it is 4h00

20th September

• Transfer from Porto through the beautiful Douro valley with lunch along the way

• Check in to the Casa and enjoy welcome drinks and dinner including local wines

• For  those who are doing self drive check in at leisure at the Casa

​

21st September

• Breakfast at leisure

• A two hour walk around Marialva to explore the surrounding area finishing with a glass of port

• For those who would like to take a bike or e-bike out for a ride these are available for rental at the Casa (extra cost)

• Light lunch at the Casa

• Afternoon at leisure for spa treatments, catching up and some lazy walks

• Late afternoon vineyard wine tasting

• Dinner in the vineyards under the stars with local music

22nd September 

• Breakfast

• Douro river boat cruise with lunch and wine tasting

• Light dinner at the pool with music

23rd September 

• Cooking classes in the morning or afternoon 

• Lunch included

• Leisure time to walk, ride enjoy the area

• Final dinner with dancing

24th September

• Breakfast

• Departure transfers to Porto
